System Requirements

macOS 12 or later, Windows 10 or later, or Linux
Node.js 18 or later (for CLI usage)
4GB RAM minimum, 8GB recommended
Active internet connection for AI features

Download the App

The fastest way to get started is to download the Exact desktop app:

Install via CLI

Prefer the command line? Install Exact globally with npm:

npm install -g @exact/cli

Or with Homebrew on macOS:

brew install exact

VS Code Extension

For VS Code users, install the Exact extension directly from the marketplace:

Open VS Code
Go to Extensions (Cmd+Shift+X / Ctrl+Shift+X)
Search for "Exact"
Click Install
